For Whistleblowers
The National Whistleblower Legal Defense and Education Fund has sponsored legal assistance programs for whistleblowers for over three decades. The Fund’s primary goal is to help connect whistleblowers with private sector attorneys to provide them with representation. The Fund accepts intakes from government and private sector whistleblowers and reviews cases concerning climate, retaliation, qui tam, and lawsuits filed under the Dodd-Frank Act, among numerous other laws.
The Process
Whistleblowers fill out a confidential, secure intake form and begin the intake process. A whistleblower attorney reviews each submission. Based upon this review, an immediate decision is made regarding whether the Fund has an attorney on its referral list who may be interested in your case.
Please continue looking for an attorney and take steps to educate yourself about your rights. If you are still waiting to receive a response from an attorney after 30 days, you should assume we could not locate an attorney to help you. The services and information provided under this program are free of charge to whistleblowers.
